![]() ![]() Can't help you with this particular rig but when you find it you (or the electrician) will have to test it and diagnose what is your real 12v problem. They work on them all day long and will probably be able to find your converter very quickly because they have found hundreds of them. IMHO, first mistake is hiring an electrician. Then we traced it in outside storage compartments right to the outside battery compartment? KEEP HELPING PEOPLE PLEASE. Then it runs under the floor, under the queen bed. The fuse box is under the first step up to enter the huge bedroom over the hitch. Nothing? We traced the wired from the breaker/fuse box kind of right to the battery. Thanks but the electrician took the screws out and looked behind the breaker switch and fuse box. US Govt survey shows three out of four people make up 75% of the total population Seems like a lightening strike just could have blown it.Ģ011 F-150 HD Ecoboost 3.5 V6. If this blows you won't have any battery power or the converter won't charge the battery. Many RVs have a large 12 volt fuse in the positive line to protect the battery. Concerning your power problems you might look in the positive line near the battery. Look where the circuit breakers are and it should be very close to there. Thank You.Ĭan't help with the location but they're USUALLY part of the power distribution center, sometimes behind it. Where is the Power Converter in this exact trailer? Not under any beds, not in any closets, not on the roof, not in any outside storage compartments, not in behind the breaker compartment. The electrician thinks the "Power Converter" was toasted and maybe something similar with the furnace. If I plug it into the truck, then the lights work, the air conditioner works but still the furnace won't kick on. The furnace will not light, the air conditioner will not come on, the lights don't work since a "Lightening Strike" in my yard last month. The diagram in the manuel shows it situated right in or leading off of the actual breaker box but it is not there? ![]() NOTE: Picture of good sized converter is actually on a separate sheet of paper from the actual instruction manuel. The Manuel says it is there, even shows a picture of it but does not say where it is at. An electrician and I tore that trailer apart (INSIDE AND OUTSIDE COMPARTMENTS) looking for the "Power Converter". I have a 1994, 28.5 foot, fully loaded, 5th wheel, Fleetwood Savanna RV. ![]() Topic: where to find the POWER CONVERTER in 5th wheel RV.Net Open Roads Forum: where to find the POWER CONVERTER in 5th wheel Open Roads Forum ![]()
